Corporate Social Responsiblity Policy

Cheadles is firmly committed to the principles of corporate social responsibility, including:
•    Highly ethical and professional standards
•    Providing an inclusive work environment
•    Environmental sustainability
•    Community involvement

The firm encourages our people to take part in diverse community-based initiatives.  For the past two years, our lawyers participated in the Harbour Youth Services Amazing Raising Cash for Kids Race, which is a not for profit fundraiser for child literacy.  Our team raised the most money and also won the race.

Cheadles also sponsors a soccer team in the Thunder Bay Women's Soccer Club.  The aim of the Club is fun, fitness and friendship.  They stive to represent these qualities on their team each indoor and outdoor season.  The team has women of all ages and skill levels, and enjoys the opportunity to learn from one another throughout the soccer seasons.  The team captains and coaches comment that without sponsorship, they would be unable to have this great group of ladies playing soccer together.  They look foward to many more seasons ahead.  Rosa Carlino and Kaija Riabov both work at Cheadles and play on our soccer team.

Corporate social responsibility is all about commitment to our clients, community, and our employees.
