Areas of Practice
Bill devotes a substantial portion of his practice to management-side labour relations matters. He appears regularly at the Ontario Labour Relations Board and at grievance arbitrations. In addition, a significant portion of his practice involves litigation matters including Debtor and Creditor Law, Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law, Construction Law, and other commercial litigation.
Bill is actively involved in the management of the firm including quality assurance and computer and information systems implementation to ensure timely and cost-effective service to clients at a reasonable cost.

Membership
Bill is a member of the Litigation and Law Office Economics sections of the American Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada, and a member of the Advocates' Society and the Thunder Bay Law Association.
Community Involvement
Bill is a past Director of the Hogarth-Westmount Hospital. He is the Past-President of the United Way of Thunder Bay, Past Vice-President of Junior Achievement, and a former Treasurer of Nor'West Gyro.
Bill has delivered presentations on various employment and human resources issues. He has spoken on the substantial changes in Labour Relations brought about by Bill 7 to various groups including Human Resources Associations in Thunder Bay and Dryden, Ontario. Bill has also spoken to the Employers' Advocacy Council on Workers' Compensation.
